“Sony Set to Unveil PS5 Pro: What to Expect from the Upcoming PlayStation Event”

Sony is poised to reveal the much-anticipated PS5 Pro in a brief livestream event today. The nine-minute PlayStation presentation, led by Mark Cerny, is set to highlight “PS5 and advancements in gaming technology.” Fans won’t have to wait much longer to get the official scoop on the PlayStation 5 Pro, as Sony will stream a technical presentation at 11AM ET on September 10, through the PlayStation YouTube channel.

All signs point to this being the official debut of the PS5 Pro. Mark Cerny, the lead architect behind the PS5, will host the stream, diving into the “PS5 and advancements in gaming technology.” Just a few days ago, Sony teased a revamped PS5 design in an image that aligns with various PS5 Pro leaks. It’s been speculated for some time that Sony would unveil the PS5 Pro in mid-September, just before the holiday season kicks off. The teaser video’s tagline, “The Journey Continues,” further hints at what to expect. Back in 2020, Cerny discussed the PS5’s specifications in a livestream, after plans for a Game Developers Conference talk were scrapped due to the pandemic.

Rumors surrounding the PS5 Pro suggest it will provide enhanced and steady frame rates at 4K resolution, alongside an 8K performance mode for supported titles. Game rendering is rumored to be 45% faster than the original PS5, and its ray-tracing features are expected to be two to three times faster.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation, hosted by Mark Cerny. The 9-minute stream kicks off at 8:00am PT / 4:00pm BST. Full details are available here: https://t.co/VC31WS9VYd
