The much-anticipated trailer for Venom: The Last Dance has finally arrived, and it looks like Tom Hardy is gearing up to say goodbye to the beloved anti-hero. In this third and final installment of the franchise, Venom, the notorious Spider-Man villain, is set to face some fresh adversaries. This time, the threats are literally out of this world, falling from outer space.
The trailer hints that Venom’s creator is on a mission to bring him back, unleashing fierce creatures to track him down on Earth. But Venom isn’t ready to surrender just yet. Together with Eddie Brock, Venom fights back in a thrilling battle against these extraterrestrial beings, with a dramatic action scene taking place mid-flight. Fans will get Tom Cruise-like action moments as Eddie and Venom switch identities, dive deep into water, and engage in intense combat.
As the final chapter of the trilogy, Venom: The Last Dance promises to be a spectacular conclusion. The official synopsis reads: “Eddie and Venom are on the run, hunted by both their worlds. As the noose tightens, the pair must face a critical decision that will bring their partnership to an end.”
The film features an impressive cast, including Tom Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham. Directed by Kelly Marcel, who also penned the script based on a story she developed with Hardy, the movie is produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Kelly Marcel, Tom Hardy, and Hutch Parker.
Speculation is rife among fans that Venom could finally encounter Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. The buzz started after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, when Venom and Eddie were seemingly transported to the MCU timeline. A Venom-Spidey crossover is something fans have eagerly anticipated for years.
Venom: The Last Dance is set to hit Indian theaters on 25th October 2024 and will be available in 3D, IMAX 3D, and multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
